On the News

Cacky, from WWAY TV3 news, came out to our farm to interview our family to highlight our adoption story and our farm.

While I admit I was intimidated by the idea of being on camera, I am also excited to have people know about what God is doing in our family and on our farm.

We started our blog in October of 2009 to document the story of our first adoption process (Mayah's adoption), and we just continued to blog as our adoption journey continues. At first, it was more to have a record of the process and journey to share it with family and friends, but as we look back over the years, we are also able to truly see God's hand through the entire process.

While I do not know that we deserve the title of being "extraordinary," as we know that any good in us comes from the Lord, we are honored that WWAY TV 3 chose to highlight our family. Our farm and our family is such a blessing to us, and it is our desire to glorify God in all we do.

If you are tuning into our blog after seeing our family on the news, we invite you to follow our adoption story. We covet your prayers as we continue this journey. We ask that you pray our adoption process would be smooth and without complication. We also ask that you pray for provisions for our adoption, and that God would be preparing the hearts of all of our children for the transitions ahead.

While we do not ask people to give, we know that sometimes God works in the hearts of others for them to be an instrument of His provision. If you feel lead to make a donation to help us bring home our children, please choose one of the options on the top right of the blog to make a tax-deductable donation, and know we are so grateful to you for your assistance.

If you have fundraising ideas for us, or you would like to help us by organizing your own fundraiser, please let us know: the.bestul.family@gmail.com

Thanks for taking the time to check out our family. May you be blessed!

"I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you." John 14:18
