Old-Fashioned Home Made Pancakes

Okay, so my kids asked me the other day to make sure that I give them all their favorite recipes for when they get older. So, I thought, I will put them here on the blog for them (and anyone else interested) to have.

Homemade Pancakes  (I have doubled the recipe here to make enough for our family of 8)

3 cups of flour (1/2 whole wheat & 1/2 all-purpose)
7 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbls. sugar
4 Tbls. brown sugar
1/4 cup of molasses
3 cups of milk
2 eggs
1/2 stick of butter (you can also substitute applesauce for a healthier option)
dash of cinnamon & nutmeg

blueberries (optional)

Oh my goodness, they are so yummy. We don't even need to put maple syrup on them! We like to have them for dinner too, and they really fill you up!

Enjoy!

Visit Our Farm and See What God is Doing Here

We are ecstatic about what God is doing on our farm. We have several new animals at the farm, as a result of some extremely generous people who have GIVEN us some amazing animals (some at very modest costs, and some completely donated!) God is SO good, and His people are such a blessing to us. We continue to be amazed at His blessings. We are so undeserving of such blessings, but we humbly thank God for them and ask Him to bless all of those individuals whom He has used to bless us.
*We would like to invite you and your families to come out an enjoy the animals God has blessed us with.*
We now have a beautiful Jersey Cow named Abigail and her adopted son Joey who is SO sweet.

Plus, we have an Alpine Goat and her 1 month old baby who is adorable (and we are milking mommy to make milk products such as soaps and cheeses).

We also have a Nubian goat due to have her baby this month, and another Nubian male goat. We have 2 miniature ponies (one is due to have her first foal in April).

We have full-sized horses, ponies, pigs, chickens, bunnies, quail, and a turkey! We would also take each of your children on a pony/horse ride...I guess we can have the moms and dads saddle up too if you want!
**We are asking for a $25 donation per family with all money going towards our adoption costs.**
Please email me privately to set up your families private tour of the farm! the.bestul.family@gmail.com or text 910-238-9415
We are also looking into possibly hosting birthday parties to raise money for the adoption, so if that is something you (or someone you know) is interested in...please talk to me about details!
Thanks everyone for your support and for spreading the word!
