Still in the red...

I am often asked, "How much does adoption cost?"

I attempted to answer that question on my blog when we were in the process of adopting Marya (to read this entry:

However, this time, we are adopting 2 children AND we could not get approved to take out another personal loan to cover the expenses.

When we started this process, we had no idea where in the world, we would come up with close to $30,000 to cover all the expenses for adopting 2 children from Ethiopia, but God has been providing, and we are sure He will continue to do so.

We have been so blessed with this adoption journey. We have received donations from people, many have been praying for our adoption process and our children, and people have come together to help organize fund raising events. It has been such a blessing to witness God's hand and His blessing through so many generous people's contributions in this entire adoption process. We are so appreciative to everyone who has helped us get one step closer to bringing our children home.

Currently, we are still $4,000 short of what we owe our adoption agency.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation,(any amount would help...even $5 or $10!) We would be so grateful. Here is how you can do it:

You can write a check to KKAM. (do not write our names on the check) but enclose a note that says it is for: Dustin & Andrea Bestul's Adoption Fund.

They will want to let you know that they do not HAVE to give it to us, and can choose who they want to give it to, but it will get to us. I assure you. They actually send the funds directly to our adoption agency (and we never touch them :)

PO Box 48744
Spokane, WA 9922

If you would prefer to give online, that is fine too:

You would go to this website:

Click on the top right where it says "donation"
"Family Grant Donation"
Then proceed as instructed.

***IMPORTANT**** In the designation box you have to put "Dustin & Andrea Bestul" in order for the money to go to our adoption grant fund.

Thank you again, so much for your contribution.

Any amount helps.

Thanks for helping us bring our kids home! May God Bless You!
